Completed a one-year-plus contract as Head of Creative for Message Lab, a brand journalism and content agency with the assignment to expand the design capability offerings and prepare for the agency’s recent sale to Berlin Rosen.
Projects we created garnered 6 Gold Awards and 19 finalists (including Agency of the Year) at the 2023 Content Marketing Awards.
I hired, managed, and mentored a team of designers to collaborate with editorial and strategy, creating immersive multimedia story experiences, branded content hubs, UX/UI designs, illustrations, and data visualizations for a range of clients, including Google, Softbank, Figma, Microsoft, Elastic, THL, XQ Superschools, and ServiceNow. Engaged to bring their core automation story to life as owned content on their newly re-designed site. Led the design team to ideate, design, and build an immersive multimedia storytelling approach, collaborating with our editorial team and the client, combining video, illustration, and data visualizations for maximum engagement. 2023 Content Marketing Award Finalist, Editorial – Best Feature Article
Process matters. On most assignments, I provide overarching creative direction and design/UX inspiration to clients and teams, establishing each idea’s unique brand tone and style, guiding with brainstorming, moodboards, sketches, and written documentation.

“Figmazine.” Work-in-progress concepts for a “creative class lifestyle” magazine for Figma. I led the brand strategy, concept, naming and design while collaborating on the editorial content strategy.
